Because of the funky way digests are implemented currently in MD, you should think of it as an independent list by name listname-digest, and not the digest of list, 'listname'.
For example, the command to trigger an issue of the digest is 'mkdigest listname', but the list name has to be 'listname-digest', not 'listname'!
Here is an example for the digest, 'frodo-digest':
mkdigest frodo-digest PASSWORD end
Here are some examples, using frodo-digest, of things that list members can do:
For a list of currently available back issues send: index frodo-digest
The file names of the issues are usually of the format 'vdd.nddd' (e.g., v01.n021).
To get a copy of one of them, send: get frodo-digest v01.n021
